Métis Summer Rendezvous
Falkland Stampede Grounds; 5811, HWY 97, Falkland BC
(30min North of Vernon on HWY 97).
Métis Summer Rendezvous is a one of a kind Métis Family Event in the Thompson Okanagan
Gates open Friday 5 pm for overnighting & set-up.
Event begins: Saturday 8:00 am for Breakfast
Entrance Fees:
$5 per person at the gate. Children under five years free Overnight Camping Fees:
2 night with electricity $25 includes admission for 2 attendees additional in your party will be $5 per person
2 night no electricity $5 per camper
Overflow parking will also be available
Motel accommodations are limited so remember to book well in advance.
Food Info:
Breakfast will be provided on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Concession Stand will be open 11am to 4 pm on Saturday for Lunch and snacks.
Saturday Dinner at 6 pm is a Pot Luck so everyone please bring items for our Métis Pot Luck Feast.
Event Activities:
Many activities are planned for all ages, please note that some activities will require pre-registration as some activities are limited for space & time.

Pre-registration Workshops
Spirit Pouches with Jean: Learn about and make /spirit Pouches. Children
under 8 years must be assisted by an adult for this session.
Upcycling Métis Style with Margaret; limited to 10 participants. Learn
how to make a Métis Ribbon Shirt through upcycling. This opportunity
is for older Youth and Adults. Some sewing experience will be
beneficial.

Remember to bring your voices, musical instruments, and your moccasins, to enjoy gathering
around the campfire, jigging the night away on our own Métis made dance floor.
