3rd Annual ‘Learn to Snowboard’
Aboriginal Youth Snowboard Jamboree
January 23 – 24, 2016
Sun Peaks Resort
In partnership with
Sun Peaks Resort and the Tk’emlups te Secwepemc First Nations Snowboard Team
Open to Aboriginal communities in the Interior Region
- Preference will be given to communities that haven’t participated last year
- Communities are eligible to receive 6-10 youth passes & 1-2 complimentary chaperone passes
- Communities include: First Nation communities, Band Schools, Friendship Centres, Metis Chartered Communities and Public Schools via First Nations Support Workers.
Saturday January 23rd: Open for communities 100+ km’s from Kamloops
Sunday January 24th: Open for communities within 100 km’s from Kamloops
Sun Peaks Resort will be providing 60 sponsored Youth Lift Tickets with Snowboard Rentals and Lessons per day.
Sponsorship is for snowboard only.
