Metis Youth Survey

The Métis Nation British Columbia’s (MNBC) Ministry of Youth is seeking the valuable input of our Métis Youth by distributing a survey on Youth Programming – Opportunities for Métis Youth. The purpose of the survey is to identify opportunities for effective Métis Youth Programming which will be utilized to inform future program and policy planning at MNBC. The survey is targeting Métis (citizens and self-identified) Youth between the ages of 15 and 30 years old.

The survey was designed with Youth input from an engagement session at the Annual Youth Meeting (AYM) which was held in conjunction with the MNBC Annual General Meeting. The Youth in attendance developed the format and provided input into the questions. The responses to these questions will ultimately provide information on which programs and services will benefit, strengthen and be utilized by Métis Youth. The goal is to deliver the ‘For Youth by Youth’ survey to 300+ Métis Youth.

The Survey is anonymous and will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. The link to the survey is as follows:

In addition to the survey, MNBC will be hosting engagement sessions throughout BC with Métis Chartered Communities and stakeholders to develop a program delivery framework that will support easier accessibility to program funding. Please be on the lookout for announcement dates coming soon!
We are looking forward to having your input as this initiative will be extremely beneficial for the implementation of programs, services and policy for our future generations.

We’d also like to note that if this survey does not meet your demographic please distribute the link and information to your networks.

We thank you for taking the time to provide your important feedback.
