We want to inform you of an opportunity to apply for funding to attend an exciting and innovative symposium on climate change and health.
Making the Links: Climate Change, Community Health and Resilience is a symposium being co-hosted by Interior Health in Kelowna on November 5 and 6, 2018. https://shiftcollaborative.ca/symposium/
The Aboriginal perspective on climate change and its impacts on health and wellness is of critical importance to the dialogue, and how we determine next steps and the ways we work together to effect change.
Interior Health is offering 10 scholarships for up to $500 each to pay for registration and other expenses related to attendance at the symposium. Kindly distribute this email as broadly as is appropriate to encourage participation.
Interest regarding this scholarship opportunity can be directed, via email, to joan.guido@interiorhealth.ca and should be received no later than Friday, October 12th. The scholarships will be awarded to the first 10 submissions.
