October 9, 2019 EXCITING NEWS!

Some of you may have heard about the great foundation we started a couple of years ago called the Act West Community Foundation and we have some very exciting news;
Act West is pleased to announce that they are opening up applications for bursaries available for single mothers and we will fund up to 4 years of study at a University, College or Technical Institute. Each bursary is worth up to $30,000 to the successful recipient.

Applications must be submitted by no later than November 10, 2019 for the January 2020 term. The successful applicant will be notified no later than December 6, 2019. The goal of the Act West Community Foundation is to change the life of a single mother through

Who: Everyone is welcome including family and friends.   NOTE: Participation is limited to 24 people

Cost: Beading kits provided free of charge to all SOSMA community members.  Non-member fee will be $20.  We will be making earrings or bracelets.  Cost is $0.50 per hoop and backing.

Food: Light lunch and refreshments available
